ABOUT MICRODOSING
Microdosing offers a safe and effective approach to support both body and mind in releasing old patterns, deepening our connection with ourselves, and fostering the development of healthier habits. Psilocybin, the active compound in truffles, has played a central role in spiritual growth within indigenous traditions for centuries.
During a microdosing experience, the aim is not to undergo a ‘trip,’ as the effect of the microdose is barely perceptible to conscious thought. Instead, microdosing allows us to explore a deeper level of self-awareness and promotes the integration of our inner wisdom into our daily lives. This complements our healing Yoga & Microdose workshop, where we aim to enhance both physical and mental well-being.
ABOUT YIN
Yin Yoga is a calming and introspective yoga style that focuses on deep muscle tissues and connective tissue, restoring joint flexibility. In contrast to more active yoga forms, Yin Yoga involves holding postures for extended periods, typically 3 to 5 minutes. This encourages relaxation and deep stretching, enabling the body to release tension.
Yin Yoga encourages introspection and helps you connect with your inner peace. It’s a fantastic way to harmonize the body and mind, reduce stress, and restore a sense of calm and balance. During the workshop, you’ll find that the combination with microdosing supports a holistic approach to well-being and self-discovery.
ABOUT NIDRA
Yoga Nidra, also known as the ‘yogic sleep,’ is a profound relaxation technique that refreshes and revitalizes both body and mind. During a Yoga Nidra session, Jaclyn will guide you through a meditative journey, leading you into a deep state of relaxation while keeping you fully aware.
The purpose of Yoga Nidra is to release tension and stress while restoring inner peace and balance. It’s a powerful tool for deepening your connection with yourself, stimulating creativity, and promoting a sense of well-being. During our event, Yoga Nidra serves as a perfect complement to microdosing, allowing you to explore and heal both your mind and body on a deeper level.
ABOUT JACLYN
Jaclyn is a certified traditional Hatha and Yin yoga instructor, an artist, writer, and co-founder of Micro Balance. She enjoys weaving her experiences of healing the body, healing grief, and healing the mind into her yoga classes, art, and coaching. We all carry our own baggage, and with the help of microdosing and yoga, we gradually empty our backpack, one microdose at a time.
Her purpose is to open up hearts, so we can all feel connected again.
PREPARATIONS
- No alcohol the day before and on the day
- No coffee on the day of the event
- A light meal up to 2 hours before the session (plant-based)
- Try to keep all meals in the 24 hours before the session plant-based.
CONTRADICTIONS
This workshop is not suitable for:
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women
- People with cardiovascular problems
- Individuals taking the following medications: Tramadol, lithium, antidepressants, antipsychotics, and blood pressure medication.
If you have anxiety disorders, mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, paranoia, and psychoses, it is recommended to avoid microdosing and discuss this with your healthcare provider (psychiatrist, psychologist, coach, or general practitioner).
